Ask a questionDo I need to send the original document to Ukraine?
For the document types we handle, a lawyer can usually obtain a new copy in Ukraine, so your existing original normally does not need to be sent. This is why we do not accept education documents: they require sending the only original to Ukraine.
What if the original has been lost?
Losing the original is often not an obstacle. If the law permits a new issue, the lawyers request a new document and then arrange the apostille.
How long does the process take?
The estimate for obtaining a new copy and arranging the apostille is up to three weeks. Delivery time is additional; we provide a more precise estimate after reviewing your case.
How can I verify the apostille?
An apostille issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice can be checked by number and date in the official electronic apostille register. We provide the register link with the completed document.
Do I need a German translation?
The authority receiving the document decides this. We recommend confirming its requirements before ordering; we can help you understand the correct order of apostille and translation.
Who is my contract with and who issues the invoice?
Listermann UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is the sole contractor and your contractual partner. The Ukrainian lawyer is engaged by Listermann UG to carry out the order and does not enter into a separate contract with you.
How does delivery work?
We send the finished documents to the address you provide in Germany or another European country. Before dispatch, we confirm the address, delivery method and cost for the destination country.
